I love the current bow trend. Is there anything a bow doesn’t make better? My Christmas decor this year is very cute and girly, so these bow stockings work great.
These stockings were so easy to make. They use inexpensive, pre-made stockings. Just add the cute bows. No sewing is needed!
Gotta love an easy craft!
How to Make Bow Stockings
Supplies Needed:
- Felt Stockings
- Iron-on vinyl
- Cricut (I used my Cricut Maker 3)
- Cricut Easy Press
- Easy Press Mat
- SVG (link at the bottom of the post)
I used iron-on vinyl in red, blush, mint, and kelly green.
Directions
- Upload the design as usual.
- Resize if needed. One stocking has one large bow, and the other has several smaller bows. Feel free to add as many bows as you want. They would look cute on the cuff, too!
- Mirror the design before cutting. (It doesn’t matter for this design, but it’s always recommended for iron-on vinyl.)
- Weed as usual. (If you’re new to iron-on vinyl, read this post.)
- Place the design onto the stocking as desired. One stocking has a large bow centered on it. The other one has several small bows spaced evenly apart and angled.
- Preheat the heat press to 280º.
- Press the stocking for about 5 seconds to remove any wrinkles.
- Press the design for 30 seconds.
- Let it cool before removing the backer paper.
- Hang your stockings and enjoy!
